PENN STATE, ARIZONA STATE TO FACE OFF ON NHL NETWORK

NHL Network will feature Gavin McKenna, one of the most exciting young skaters in NCAA Hockey, this Friday at 10pm ET when Penn State travels to Mullett Arena in Tempe Arizona to take on Arizona State.

This past season, The Dan K Show has devoted much of its coverage to the changes happening at the NCAA D1 level, including the movement of top players away from US based Junior Leagues to the CHL, now that CHL players are eligible to play NCAA D1 Hockey. Arguably the most talked about CHL player over the past few months has been Gavin McKenna, a CHL standout who committed to and is now playing at Penn State. McKenna lit up the WHL with 129 points in 56 games, and now will light up the airwaves in primetime on Friday night.
