"DanKCast" To Bring Hockey Broadcasts To Social Media
Dan K Show Launching TIK TOK and Instagram LIVE Watch Parties for the 22-23 Season
Heading into its 8th season as the Most-Watched Show in Junior Hockey, The Dan K Show has announced that it will take its enthralling live broadcast experience to social media. With the continued growth of Junior and Collegiate hockey nationwide, hockey’s favorite hosts have found a way to spotlight action around the world, from the comfort of their own couch!
This season, fans, players, and scouts will be able to watch select USPHL games along with The Dan K Show LIVE on Tik Tok and/or Instagram LIVE. The DanKCast will look similar to the informal broadcast style perfected at ESPN with its weekly ManningCast, accompanying the traditional Monday Night Football production. Viewers will tune into their game on HockeyTV, while logging into Tik Tok or Instagram LIVE to watch along with Dan K, Lucas Jones and select guests curated for each game.
DanKCast will launch on Friday, September 9th at 7:45 pm EST, LIVE @TheDanKShow on Tik Tok as the boys tune into the first USPHL Premier broadcast of the season between the newly-launched Columbia Infantry and the defending Southeast Champion Charlotte Rush.
The remaining schedule for September will include, a #MountainAfterDark matchup on Friday, September 16th at 8:30 pm MST/10:30 pm EST, between the Idaho Falls Spud Kings and Northern Colorado Eagles with The Dan K Show’s very own Brendan Price on the HockeyTV call, a Monday afternoon matchup on September 19th between the Florida Eels and Atlanta Mad Hatters at 12:00 pm EST, and multiple LIVE tune-ins from the USPHL’s Southeast Showcase kicking off on Thursday, September 22nd.
Each month The Dan K Show will announce a new slate of games that will provide viewers a whole new way to watch along with their favorite HockeyTV content.
